For the basic who, what, when, where, and why, check out the Canadian Weblog Awards about page.Anyone, whether they are Canadian or not, can nominate Canadian weblogs, so all of you Canadian-loving non-Canadians can get in there and share your favourites.Nominated weblogs must be created by Canadian citizens either living in Canada or abroad.Jurors, with the exception of Schmutzie, may be nominated. They will be individually recused from judging within any categories to which they have been nominated. Schmutzie, the founder of the Canadian Weblog Awards, may not be nominated for any category.All nominated weblogs must be expressed in either English or French due to the constraint of our editorial resources.If a nominated weblog does not fit in with our guidelines, such as its being pornographic or promoting hate, it is at our discretion to refuse its acceptance into the Canadian Weblog Awards.If more than three categories are suggested for a weblog submitted for nomination, the weblog will be placed in only a maximum of three of those categories deemed most applicable.A weblog need only be nominated once into any specific category, as the nominations do not count as votes toward becoming a finalist.This is not a review website, so specifics with regard to how each weblog is weighed against the Canadian Weblog Awards criteria will remain confidential among the jurors.All juried decisions are final. There is no appeals process once the nominees' shortlist and winners are posted.We ask for your name and e-mail address on the nomination form only to confirm that you are a real person making the nomination, and we will not use them for any other purpose.You would like to link to us? Tout le monde peut mettre un site en nomination, qu'ils soient Canadiens ou non. Alors dites à vos amis, non-Canadiens mais branchés sur notre pays, de s'impliquer et de partager leurs coups de cœur.
Les blogues mis en nomination doivent être créés par des citoyens canadiens vivant au pays ou à l'étranger.
Les jurés, à l'exception de Schmutzie, peuvent être mis en nomination. Ils devront simplement se récuser dans les catégories où ils sont en nomination. Schmutzie, qui a fondé Le Grand Prix des blogues canadiens, ne peut être mis en nomination dans aucune catégorie.
Tous les blogues en nomination doivent être de langue anglaise ou française en raison de nos ressources éditoriales limitées.
Si un blogue en nomination ne respecte pas nos principes directeurs, par exemple s'il est pornographique ou diffuse une propagande haineuse, nous avons l'entière discrétion de refuser sa participation au Grand Prix des blogues canadiens.
Si plus de trois catégories sont suggérées en lien avec un blogue mis en nomination, le blogue sera placé dans les trois catégories jugées les plus pertinentes.
Un blogue peut être mis en nomination une seule fois, quelle que soit la catégorie ; le nombre de nominations obtenues n'est pas calculé comme un vote et ne sert pas à déterminer les finalistes.
Ceci n'est pas un site d'opinions ; aussi le jugement du jury quant à chaque site, établi selon les critères du Grand Prix des blogues canadiens, demeurera confidentiel.
Toutes les décisions du jury sont finales. Aucun processus d'appel n'existe concernant la liste des nominations et la proclamation des gagnants une fois celles-ci diffusées.
Nous demandons à connaître vos nom et adresse courriel lors de la mise en nomination afin seulement de confirmer que vous êtes une personne réelle. Vos informations personnelles ne seront jamais utilisées à d'autres fins.
